In Marrakech, Morocco the streets are busy and construction of site venues is advancing as preparations to host the 2023 World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings are gearing up.
IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva will lay out the main themes, risks and opportunities she sees in a speech in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire Friday, October 6 to unofficially launch the Meetings.
The IMF Meetings will be a week of events drawing together its 190-country membership and the public in Morocco from October 9-15 at a new specially built facility in Marrakech.
