IMF / Principality of Andorra becomes IMF’s 190th Member

The Ambassador of Andorra, Elisenda Vives Balmaña, visited the IMF headquarters on Friday (October 16) to sign the IMF’s Articles of Agreement of the Principality of Andorra joining the International Monetary Fund as its 190th member at a ceremony in Washington D.C.

During the ceremony the IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said “Congratulations to Andorra for becoming the IMF’s 190th member. In these times of COVID, when the world needs more than ever to come together, you joining the family of the IMF is an indication of how much we all need each other,”
